Our Mission
Uniting Kings & Queens
We are a network committed to fostering success among young adults through the creative arts, including but not limited to visual art, dance, theater, film, music, and other artistic endeavors. Our purpose is to provide a structured platform, resources, and guidance to individuals, particularly those who are homeless, from low-income backgrounds, or at risk, and who may be underserved or marginalized by conventional measures of success. We aim to empower these individuals by facilitating access to opportunities that promote personal and professional development, with the goal of improving their social and economic outcomes.

We can't change the world without you! Thanks for your support!

CEO & President
Angel Wells
I am honored to share my journey as the CEO and President of the Kings & Queens Foundation. My passion for making a positive impact in the world has been my driving force. Growing up, I witnessed the struggles faced by marginalized communities and realized the importance of creating opportunities for those in need. This realization fueled my determination to dedicate my life to serving others. After completing my degree. I embarked on a journey to work with various nonprofit organizations. I gained valuable experience in program development, and strategic planning. These experiences deepened my understanding of the needs of my community and those who are making a profound difference that need extra support. In my role as CEO, I have had the privilege of leading a team of dedicated individuals who share the same vision and passion for our cause. Together, we have worked tirelessly to create sustainable solutions and empower those we serve. Through innovative projects, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, we have been able to make a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals. One of the highlights of my tenure as CEO was spearheading the 100 Women in Suites March to provide awareness for those who were affected by police brutality. This event not only transformed the lives of the participants but also had a ripple effect on the families and communities who were impacted by police brutality. Witnessing their healing journey has been immensely rewarding and has affirmed my belief in the power of empowerment. While the journey has not been without its challenges, I firmly believe that every hurdle presents an opportunity for growth and learning. As a leader, I have learned to navigate through adversity, adapt to changing circumstances, and inspire my team to stay focused on our mission. Looking ahead, my vision for the organization is to expand our reach and deepen our impact. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and remain committed to leading our organization towards a brighter future. In conclusion, my journey as the CEO and President of the Kings & Queens Foundation has been a fulfilling and transformative experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the betterment of society. Together, we can create a world where our communities can thrive.

Vice President
Odanov E. Martin
I am honored to serve as the Vice President of the Kings & Queens Foundation. In this role, I focus on fostering community growth, empowerment, and sustainable change, both locally and internationally. I'm also an International Liaison Officer in collaboration with the Cabo Verde NGO, Organização das Mulheres de Cabo Verde (OMCV), working to address critical issues affecting women and communities in Cabo Verde.
As a co-founder of Bourne’s Heron Leadership Program, I am dedicated to developing future leaders through meaningful cultural exchange and global partnership. The program was initiated through the Mandela Washington Fellowship’s Reciprocal Exchange in 2018, when I was honored as a Reciprocal Exchange Recipient, an award given to expand African and U.S. partnerships and elevate global impact through education and mentorship. Since 2018, this program has continued to grow, with our most recent recognition in 2024 further validating our mission to uplift and connect leaders across borders.
In addition to my work with Kings & Queens Foundation and Bourne’s Heron Leadership Program, I previously served as the Executive Director and Board President of the MHK Music Network. Through this service-focused organization, I spearheaded initiatives that supported and advanced the professional well-being of those in the arts, emphasizing community, resilience, and cultural impact. With five years of experience in corporate settings, I also bring skills in group facilitation, campaign management, and public relations, with a diverse client portfolio that includes athletes, industry professionals, and community members.
My journey in leadership and international collaboration was deeply influenced by my European travels, which fueled my commitment to continuous learning and community building. Through these diverse experiences, I have cultivated a unique approach that blends empathy with strategic vision, making me a valuable advocate and resource for transformative change.
